Happy New Year!

Because a handful of people enjoy poking fun at the fact that I haven’t updated my site in a while…cough. (Still kinda surprised people even visit my site)

Happy New Year to everyone out there! And Merry uber delayed Christmas! Hope the holidays were great for you all.

I updated the Games List page yet again. I’ve added Super Street Fighter IV (which I suck at), Sonic Generations (SO FUN!!!!1) and Eternal Sonata.

Commentaries have been back at my stream, but once again, the chance of me streaming overall has been pretty scarce as of early last year, especially since the winter break is done and over with, and spring break isn’t ’til quite a long ways away. I’ve also been debating on transitioning my stream over to JTV. I’ve noticed that some of my viewers have been having issues with Ustream and I’m considering giving JTV more chances (EVEN THOUGH I HAVE LIKE 270+ FOLLOWERS ON USTREAM PFFFTTCHHH). Keep alert on this, we shall see what happens in ze future…

I also have a Tumblr. I’m going to try to get myself more involved in photography as part of my new years resolution (pfffffttttt let’s see how lazy I’ll get…). So far I’ve been uploading pictures of Tiki and Tonton (the cats displayed at the top of the site) from when they were still kittens. I’m trying to make my selection of posts more diverse so I don’t bore you all to death with the kitten overdose. HOPE YA’LL* LOOK FORWARD TO IT.

*One of the only moments in my life where I’ll type ya’ll. I swear.

If you’ve been keeping track of my Twitter, I got some piggyback cables a week or so ago for my capture card! Yay! This means more productive streaming! Still trying to actually stream more though. My parents are also totally aware of the whole online friends thing (can’t remember if I mentioned this in one of my earlier posts…too lazy to look), and that I sometimes like to do live video game stuff, so I’m kinda trying to stream more and take full opportunity of the summer break. It’s still a bit difficult since I’ve got random numerous things getting in the way of ze streamy streamage, buuut your patience means a lot, and even making it to any of my future shows means more than you know to me. Which reminds me- I started this streaming stuff nearly a couple years ago, pretty much by myself. I’m at around 270 followers now but still can’t believe how far I’ve made it. The Ustream gaming community has made quite the impact on me as a person. I’ve met some tremendous people as well as made friends that I plan on communicating with for a long time. Thank you sooo so much. ♥

Soooo you know how I made that post about my computer being moved to the hallway? Welp, now I’m not on my own computer anymore. My father’s monitor for his computer suddenly stopped working so now he’s using my monitor on his comp. Sooooooo yes, I am using my parents computer now- it’s downstairs like, right beside the living room. It’s too confusing to explain the layout, but now my family can see everything that I’m doing if they’re sitting down on the couch in the living room or something.

Yaaay…

Sorry to say this but I guess I won’t be streaming as frequently. It annoys me as much (or more) as you guys are by my parents being so paranoid about what I’m doing on the internet…

Maybe buying that capture card was a really bad idea. Hell, I don’t even really use it anymore. XD

No More Commentary?!

I’m afraid that I have some terrible news…but some good news, at the same time.

Just last week my computer was moved into the hallway. This means my parents are always glancing over at whatever the hell it is I’m doing on my computer every few minutes. I’ve obviously lost their trust and I’ll have to earn it back by getting rid of my tardy, procrastinating self. Now I’ll be going to bed earlier than usual (10 or 11 PST) which means no more late streams, no more Skype calls, aaaannndd I can’t stream with commentary anymore. I’ll try my best to communicate with my voice as much as I can with you guys, but will overall stick with typing. BUT! Since my computer was moved to the hallway, my father put his old television into my room in replacement of my computer, so now my desktop is conveniently close enough to the TV…and that means I can stream some console games! Sweetness! Although I still do not have a capture card, I will have to stream these games from a webcam. I do have the money to buy a capture card, but I was planning on purchasing a good-priced one online. I talked a bit about getting a paypal account with my dad except I’ll have to earn it by working on my school shit… Life sucks.

If you’ve payed attention to the Games List page (you’re a total stalker if you have noticed this), I added in Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing to my Wii games collection. Check it out if you want my friend code! Please post your friend code back in the comment box if you’d like to race with me one day. And this goes for other games too. Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing — I’m down for all three. Even if I horribly suck at Brawl. I also apologize in advance if I accidentally disapprove your comment. Paper Mario: TTYD and Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity

Woah. I bought another PS2 game?!
Yesssss’m. I purchased Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. You know, this game is actually kinda bad. I regret getting that instead of just the original Sonic Riders. Silly me.

I also found Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door at EB Games for 20 bucks! That’s a pretty damn good deal, amirite? It’s been used but it is definitely still playable. Now all I need to do is buy a memory card and I can properly save.

I haven’t finished with my babysitting yet either, so I shall still be working here and there. The money flow is coming in very slowly so attempting to buy a TV will pretty much take foreverrrrr… Same goes for the capture card.

PS2 Addition and StepMania

Looks like I did something that I’d almost never expect myself do… Purchase a couple of (brand new) PS2 games!

I picked up Jak 2 and Sly Cooper 2 at HMV a few weeks ago. They were in mint condition and everything so I kinda thought, “What the poopers, why not get it?”. It’s kinda ironic because I went to the mall days ago and I found a used Jak 2 game for like five dollars at EB Games. It made me rage but I guess getting Jak 2 and Sly Cooper 2 for twenty bucks in total was okay… Right guiz? Riiiiight.

Looks like the Nintendo64 plug on my RF Adapter still works, so I can play games on my crappy TV! Huzzah! But it’s not worth it to stream anything from my TV since you can’t see anything half the time. I don’t know if the XBox plug works though because I need to find another plug for it… Fsfjdlsjgwofnwero.

That means I’ll still be sticking with streaming emulated games. Here and there I’ll be stealing my parents computer to attempt t’play some PSX games so if you pop in there might be a slight chance of me playing Klonoa: Door to Phantomile or perhaps Threads of Fate… Anything really, since I could just download an ISO easily. Ah, the wonders of emulation!

I spent quite a lot of money this summer on a bunch of stuff and apparently I’m going to stop babysitting, which clearly tells me that at this rate there’s no way I could possibly buy a TV or a capture card…  Poooop. Sorry that you guys will have to continue to tolerate the crappy quality from my stream.

ALSOALSOALSO! I have downloaded StepMania which mostly contains crappy song choices (specially chosen by moi). Please feel free to request a song for me to play. Tweet it to me, e-mail, message me on DeviantArt, whatever!

So I had…some…certain people…who were continuously requesting that I state something signifying how I was, in fact, still alive, and not swimming with ze fishies. Somehow. I don’t know why I would be in the water in the first place. Perhaps I went to the swamp to go visit Mr. Toad, or possibly in the Poopsifik Oshun hanging at Mr. Squid’s house. (Hohoho, how I love linking them in my posts).

Okay! So, if you have noticed the small details, I added Super Mario Galaxy 2 to the Wii games list and my Formspring link on my FAQ page.

I will temporarily be sticking with emulated games for a long time. My brother decided that it would be smart to rip off the loose cords on our RF Adapter connecting to the PS2, which somehow affected the XBox and N64/Gamecube cords too…so the whole thing just totally blew up. Fantastic. Now I must save up for a brand new (preferably flat screen) TV.  I was also planning on saving up for a capture card, and with the little amount of money that I receive every 2 weeks from babysitting, this will definitely take a long time.

Will be editing here and there, so be on the lookout incase something changes. Still trying to edit my about me page, which is taking me a damn long time to edit. But I can see that page as something that I shall be editing a LOT in the future, since I seem to have a short attention span and change my interests quite often. Woohoo!
